After reading some selections from the police blotter of Tracy, California on Slog this weekend, reader Julie sent us this:

I recently moved from Seattle to Bar Harbor, Maine (a tourist town that's really busy in the summer). I love reading the local police blotter. Highlights from last week include:

The occupant of a car with New York license plates was reported to be blocking traffic and swearing at a woman from Louisiana on the town pier.

Smoke was reported on Kebo Street, but the complainant later called back to report it was just fog.

A recently shaved cat was reported missing from West Street.

A group of "Russians" was reported to be breaking things along Maple Avenue.

A waitress reportedly lost her apron after leaving work at a downtown restaurant.

Delightful.
