At night, nothing to do, not even stars to look at, I decide to read Wikipedia's entry on humans. This is something I have never done before (gorrillas, yes; chimps, yes; bonobos; yes; humans, no), and this is what I find (among other images concerning the dominant species of the planet):
Why is the young woman not standing like the young man? Why is she not facing us like the [or a] man? It really bothers me to no end that she has to "strike a pose" even here, an image for scientific purposes.
