As Politico noted this morning, Democrat Denny Heck, who's running for Congress in Washington's 3rd District, woke up from last night's primary victory to this attack commercial:

Okay... So Denny Heck hates America and wants to build a giant shrine to Nancy Pelosi in the 3rd District. Riiiight. And which proud Americans of the 3rd District are saying this?

A reliable Democratic operative did a bit of research and, without too much trouble, linked several of the names in the above ad to well-known 3rd District Republican figures.

From the Democratic operative's dossier:

Keath Huff: Has served as the Cowlitz County GOP Chair and is the creator of the Cowlitz County Tea Party. Member of the Republican Nation Committee, the Cowlitz County Republican Central Committee, and the Cowlitz County Young Republicans. Also: A friend of Heck's Republican opponent, Jamie Herrera.

Ryan Hart: Current chairman of the Clark County Republican Party who, according to a newspaper account, attended Herrera's campaign kickoff party in June.

Aaron Christopherson: Former campaign manager for Jamie Herrera and current Woodland City Councilman. He recently voted in favor of a measure calling on the Washington State Legislature to adopt an anti-illegal immigration law similar to Arizona’s.

In other words, it seems that this ad slams Heck for being a "political insider" while being made by, wait for it, political insiders. Nice.
