We have a children's book about a bear and a mouse sharing a bed (Abomination! Abomination in the eyes of God!), a book about traveling the world for cheap, a book about wine...and murder, a book about camping with children, and a parenting expert tonight.

Plus two more policy-wonk-friendly events going on today at Town Hall.

At 12:15, they're hosting a panel discussion titled Global Health: The Local Impact. "Leaders from Seattle health organizations" will discuss the importance of global health and what Seattle can do to help improve it.

But the big show is tonight at 7:30. David Plouffe will be reading and taking your questions. Maybe you are sick of getting e-mails from him, but you have to give David Plouffe credit for running a wildly successful Democratic presidential campaign. The unfortunate title of his book about that experience is The Audacity to Win.

The full readings calendar, including the next week or so, is here. And if you're planning on staying in and you're looking for personalized book recommendations, feel free to tell me the books you like and ask me what to read next over at Questionland.
