This morning local dancer and artist Jess Klein woke up and got ready for work—she's a dance teacher at University Prep—and discovered that her car had been stolen! Her 1987 white convertible Volkswagen Cabriolet, Washington plates 287 VHT, was missing from the legal spot where it had been parked on the street the night before. It had vanished.

Many Sloggers and Stranger readers will remember Jess as part of the street dance team Fankick! Jess is a totally positive force in the local arts and dance communities and she's the last person who deserved to have her car stolen. There aren’t many white convertible Cabbys in Seattle.
