SurveyUSA has the latest results on four initiatives on this year's ballot. The Tim Eyman measure that requires bankrupting the state a two-thirds majority to implement new taxes is earning favor by a three-to-one margin, the soda lobby's attempt to stave off taxes on their toxic sludge groceries that children need to survive is winning with ease, the income tax is far from 50 percent it needs to pass (with opposition growing), and the tax on bottled water to pay for schools is failing by a long shot (and support is dropping).

But hey, if the liquor initiatives pass, it'll be easier than ever to drown your sorrows.
