I'm not the only person to notice this, but it's worth an official online tally.
The Seattle Times editorial page, which once upon a time endorsed people like George W. Bush and Dino Rossi and Dave Reichert, this year swung hard to the left with its picks for the U.S. House and Senate.
In all of this state's hotly-contested congressional races, the paper chose the Democrat over the Republican.
It picked Democratic Senator Patty Murray over Republican Dino Rossi, Democratic Congressman Rick Larsen over Republican challenger John Koster in the 2nd Congressional District, Democratic candidate Denny Heck over Republican state representative Jaime Herrera in the 3rd Congressional District, and Democratic candidate Suzan DelBene over Republican Congressman Dave Reichert in the 8th Congressional District.
The paper's statewide initiative endorsements—well, that's another story.
