Remember this?

[The body of a man was found beside railway tracks inside the King Street railway tunnel on] Sunday, August 22. A pattern is emerging: Last Sunday (August 8), an 18-year-old woman was killed by a train in Tacoma, and the Sunday before that (August 1), a 16-year-old man was killed by a train in Puyallup.

It happened again on a Sunday:

An Amtrak train struck and killed a person who was on the tracks north of the Tukwila station shortly after 6 p.m. Sunday, an Amtrak spokesman said.

Amtrak Cascades Service Train No. 509 was traveling from Seattle to Portland with 205 people aboard, spokesman Cliff Cole said.

The train stopped and waited and waited and waited and waited forever. And yes, people got pissed, and very much had a right to get pissed. The stupid death caused a serious delay. Plans were ruined, connections were missed, dreams were disassembled and reassembled.
