If you're shopping for a nerd today, you might want to get to a comic book shop or two. Just about every area comic shop is having a Black Friday sale, and most of the sales are going all weekend long.

Comics Dungeon is having a big back-issue sale, which is perfect if the nerd in your life likes older comics. Arcane Comics is also having a back-issue sale, but they're throwing in some trade paperbacks (50% off Marvel hardcovers, and 50% off "indie trades") too. Zanadu Comics is rewarding your bulk purchases: If you buy two or more trade paperbacks, you get at least 15% and as much as 20% off.

Give your local comics stores some love this weekend; it's been a tough year for the comics business, and comic books make great Christmas presents.
