At 2:00 p.m. today, Seattle Center officials are unveiling a "fun, new and exciting attraction" that'll soon be joining the center to promote the 50th anniversary celebration of the 1962 Seattle World's Fair.

Sources say that the attraction is going to be a giant Ferris wheel. BUT: I've got other sources speculating that it'll be a giant, roving glass eye designed by Dale Chihuly (and mounted on two-story steel spider legs) or a bubbled elevator—AKA bubbleator—to the sky!*

I suppose we shall find out the truth at 2:00 p.m. But in the meantime, any guesses?

* It's worth noting that all of my sources are under 10.
