Remember in 1965, when Slade Gorton was a gerrymandering genius? Me neither! But look, there he is on the far right in that 1965 photo, and look, there he is yesterday on a list of Republican appointees to the Washington State Redistricting Commission, the body that will draw the lines for our new 10th Congressional District. Check it: Slade's even wearing his same old redistricting suit to this year's redistricting party. Nice choice.
