On the heels of news that the State Department is changing the space for "mother's name" and "father's name on passport applications to "parent 1" and "parent 2," Right Wing Watch notes that the Family Research Council is predictably outraged:

"President Obama's Justice Department is purposefully failing to defend the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) in the courts, so it is little surprise that his State Department would show the same disrespect for U.S. law. The House of Representatives should take their oversight rule very seriously and intervene in both these circumstances."

Among the important sources they cite in their press release? "The dictionary." Say, someone should read the dictionary on the floor of Congress! That'd teach those liberal activists.
