As is sometimes the case, the name says it all: I Am An Insane Robot Rogue AI puts gamers in charge of taking over the world in the guise of that old standby, the insane (or trans-rational, or godlike) computer which uses its limited tools to take over tech facilities, kill plenty of hapless scientists and guards, fend off or hack security bots, and—because all games require shopping—purchase upgrades between levels. It's just barely hard enough to be challenging, and each level is brief enough that it's all too easy to fall into the just-one-more trap and come to an hour or so later with a fully-modded AI and a world throttled firmly by your cold robotic grip. Shout-outs to inspiring insane robot AIs of the past like Portal's GladOS are fun for the nerds, but even hardcore non-gamers should find IAAIRAI amusing enough to toy with for a while.
