Malcolm Gladwell is wrong. His mincing and pouting on the matter of the Egyptian revolution only makes things worse. The fact is, he publicly make a broad, dumb statement in October and then he was proven wrong not even a half-year later. Saying that the revolution in Egypt would've happened without Twitter is the worst kind of playground self-pity. Would the revolution in Egypt have happened without cell phones, Mr. Gladwell? Would it have happened if nobody had cars? You were wrong. It's not the first time. Admit it.
