Thousands of protesters converge on state Capitol in Madison, Wisconsin

As many as 30,000 protesters converged on the state Capitol in Madison, Wisconsin today, as organizers promised to keep up the pressure. Word is that teachers in Milwaukee and other cities are preparing to join Madison teachers in a mass walkout tomorrow, despite threats from administrators of disciplinary actions.

Somehow, I don't see the national guard teaching Wisconsin's school children.

Did the teabaggers ever sustain crowds this big for so long? I don't think so. It remains to be seen if politicians and the media will take these protesters as seriously as they do their Second-Amendment-remedy-threatening counterparts.
