Only after flying Air Canada earlier this week did I learn about the existence of Score: A Hockey Musical. The Canadian-made movie was in the selection of on-flight movies, and of course I watched it! (It was either this or Morning Glory—it wasn't a difficult decision.)

Score stars Olivia Newton-John, Nelly Furtado, and Wayne Gretzky's dad. Canadian treasures the Barenaked Ladies even wrote one of the songs on the soundtrack. It's totally cheesy and campy and sometimes the songs sound a little lazy, but the filmmakers and stars seem to be in on the joke. At least I hope they are. I LOVE IT.

"Hockey! Hockey! The greatest game in the land!"
