Cardinal Quest is a very simple 8-bit Dungeons & Dragons-inspired independent video game. You go through dungeons killing kobolds, bandits, succubi and other monsters using very simple attacks, picking up and dropping magical items as you go. If you can get past the first level, you'll probably hang on for a good long while, descending deeper and deeper into the dungeon and finding more monsters to kill. It's a great little timesuck that calls back to some of the great old NES games.
