Saudi Police have fired on (or above) protesters who were out and about early—tomorrow is supposedly Saudi Arabia's scheduled "day of rage."

Bahrain (a state heavily supported by Saudi Arabia) is also shaking again. Students are vowing to march on the king's court tomorrow and a protest at a school in Sar got ugly:

During the break we went on a peaceful protest, we gathered, a few girls. Next thing we know a group of naturalized people were let into school and the school door was locked, they had iron and wooden sticks and knives.

News about the possible protests in Saudi Arabia—and protest is illegal in Saudi Arabia—sent the Dow down to its worst day on seven months. At least that's how the analysts explain it.
