The National Weather Service's latest alert maintains a tsunami warning for California, Oregon and much of Alaska, but here in Washington our watch has been revised to an advisory.

- PERSONS IN TSUNAMI WARNING COASTAL AREAS SHOULD MOVE INLAND TO HIGHER GROUND.

- PERSONS IN TSUNAMI ADVISORY COASTAL AREAS SHOULD MOVE OUT OF THE WATER... OFF THE BEACH AND OUT OF HARBORS AND MARINAS.

What has Washington done to deserve such divine protection? I'm guessing it's the cherries, particularly the Vans.
