It's their only option, after all.

FUCK TEXAS!

This should be an ongoing series...
4
What a shithole state.
5
Will they just secede already?
6
Married transsexuals are less likely to become prostitutes, which is oppression of the rights of elected Republicans to use them.
7
Dan,
Do you support marriage rights for polygamists?
8
@7: I think polygamists should be allowed to marry the consenting, adult, non-related individual of their choice.
9
Fucking Texas!

and Venomlash @8, was "individual" pointedly singular?

Kind of old news. Sometime back in the '90s a MtF was able to marry a biological female because the state of Texass wouldn't change the birth certificate.
11
Admittedly, it would be odd if two biological men could only marry if one transitioned.
Isn't that the background to Hedwig?
12
wow. Texas found a way to discriminate against straight people. That's hardcore.
13
Effing Texas. Not that Florida (the F state) doesn't keep good company with it.
14
That's how we got our first lesbian marriage 10 or so years ago.

@9: Shh, I want to see the Period Hive Queen shit a brick before I point it out to her.

This is such a sad story. Not that it matters to me whether people choose their sexuality or gender identity, or whether it's given to them by nature, but it seems many transgendered people have to deal with serious physical and emotional issues, and how nice it is that Texas is going to add to their problems. Even though I disagree with this, I can vaguely understand why religious people could object to homosexuality. But this? This is simply the work of assholes. There's no other legitimate explanation or motive.
