Portland-based dance-tastic electronic band YACHT will be stopping by Seattle University's Hedreen Gallery tomorrow at noon for a free lunch-hour discussion as part of the gallery's aptly-named "Yacht Club portion" of the ongoing show House Systems.

Join Claire L. Evans and Jona Bechtolt for an informal presentation on the inherent sameness of underground music culture and what we call underground spiritual culture, i.e. cults, secret societies, utopian sects, etc. They'll also talk Shakers, punk rock, mantra recitation and its role in pop music, as well as the philosophy of YACHT and how they employ it in their lives and music.

Free food for your brain and your stomach. Gallery capacity is only 60. Don't miss it!

YACHT will be playing tonight at Neumos with Light Asylum and Jeffrey Jerusalem.
