Right Wing Watch (via Slog tipper Matt) says three Republican presidential candidates have signed a pledge that stands against the bullying that "supporters" of "traditional marriage" have had to endure, the poor dears:

In kicking off the event, NOM has announced that Santorum, Bachmann, and Mitt Romney have all signed a five-point "Marriage Pledge" [PDF] that includes a promise to establish a "presidential commission" to "investigate harassment of traditional marriage supporters"

In full, the candidates have agreed to...

...establish a presidential commission on religious liberty to investigate and document reports of Americans who have been harassed or threatened for exercising key civil rights to organize, to speak, to donate or to vote for marriage and to propose new protections, if needed.

Well, of course. Gay people simply don't understand what it's like to be bullied. Do you know that the climate has gotten so toxic that people actually want to know if you donated to bigoted causes? Like that's supposed to be public information or something? Who do they think they are? If you want to give a lot of money to a cause that you're not even brave enough to put your name to, that's your Constitutional right!
