The Washington State Department of Transportation's previous drawings of the deep-bore tunnel's south portal shocked folks with its dozen lanes of glorious cement. The latest version is narrower but was rejected by the Seattle Design Commission because it includes tall overpasses that one commissioner described as "a pig." Anyway, here's the latest rendering:
