Santorum Finally Oozes Through All of Iowa

Comments

1
That's an injustice to nerds, Paul.
3
I second #1's sentiment. Nerds everywhere, who just want right answers backed up by reliable, proven information, should not have to be used as a proxy for Santorum (the person, or the anal ooze, but especially the person).
4
The most interesting part of this story is that Iowa has 99 counties. Fascinating.
5
"Santorum's like the nerdy kid in elementary school who wonders why everyone hates him, even though he gets every extra credit question right on every single test."

I'm with #1 and #3. This sentence sounds only like it could come from personal experience, eh Paul?
6
No, he's the dorky kid in elementary school who wonders why everyone hates him, even though he smells like onions, eats spiders, and picks fights with 1st graders.
7
I"m with 1, 3, and 5. Also, your statement assumes that Santorum has a correct answer for "how to fix the country." All of his answers usually come down to "BUTTSECKS blah blah blah blah Dan Savage Made Me Cry blah blah blah blah MORE BUTTSECKS."
8
dont bring nerds into this. santorum is like a douche bag self-aggrandizing frat boy biggot with a shit stain smile

Not only does Iowa have 99 counties, it's largest county is Pottowattamie, the county seat of which is my hometown, Council Bluffs.

I wonder where he went in Johnson County, home of the infamous Iowa City, where people are only Republicans to annoy their neighbors, and there's only about five of them. (not counting College Republicans who are, after all, mentally Ill)
10
He's not like nerds at all. Nerds know and learn things and succeed. He knows and learns nothing and fails.
11
Rick Santorum has never gotten ANY question right in his entire goddamned life. Sheesh.

*I* was the nerdy kid in elementary school who knew perfectly well why everyone hated me, because I got every extra credit question right. I'll bet Frothy Mix never got locked in a locker and had to be let out by a teacher going and getting the janitor.
12
Agreed. Paul, you had me right up to that part with the nerd analogy, which left me confused. He is like the kid who does poorly on tests, interrupts and yells a lot, throws tantrums, and demands other kids like him. And of course he smells like poop.
13
How could you, Paul? I had no idea you were such a self-hating nerd.
14
I'm joining the "you insulted nerds" commenters. I demand an apology to all nerds!
15
Here's a better description: He's like the hateful, judgmental, privileged, looking-down-his-nose at those who don't 100% agree with him kid. Who grew older but never grew up.

16
What the fuck?? You're comparing smart nerdy kids with Santorum??
17
Why would you insult nerds in such a horrible fashion?
18
grow up

Nerd Solidarity! We reject this depiction utterly.

I was that kid in school who got every extra credit question right, but was well-liked because I was genuine and nice to people (and very carefully kept my mouth shut about my nerdity, being a girl, you know). I am quite sure Santorum was not a good learner, since his cognitive and social skills are so poorly developed even into adulthood.

I do agree about his wanton grasping anxious greed to be popular, despite what comes out of his stupid hateful mouth. To me though, it seems more like arrogance than wanting to be liked. He thinks he should be higher in the polls because he's more deserving.

99 Counties of Santorum in Iowa
99 Counties of Santorum
None were spared, No one cared,
98 Counties of ....

I suppose with their concern about industrial pork farm waste, he was barely a splash in the pond.

As a nerd enabler, I'm on board with the nerd backlash.

In his defense, Paul is describing a particular kind of nerd, the one who thinks people should like him because he get extra credit. This is entirely different than the nerd fnarf describes. However, i do agree with the majority that nerds should be left out if this entirely. Does everyone like me now?
