Oh my god we're going to have pot stores, people! Officials everywhere are issuing statements about the will of the people, and the people are willfully smoking weed most everywhere.

But you might have missed this important news flash: In a press release issued by the mayor's office, Seattle Police Chief Jim Pugel was quoted thus:

"I am pleased that Attorney-General Holden has provided clarity about the future of I-502 in Washington State."

To me the typo seems apropos, since Dominic Holden was the instigator behind Seattle's Initiative 75 which, rather than changing any actual pot laws, directed government agencies to prioritize their spending, with pot crimes at the bottom of the list. That seems to be the exact tack taken by the Obama administration. So thanks, Attorney General Dominic Holden!
