PubliCola has the new PPP survey results:

New mayor's race polling done over the weekend shows mayoral challenger state Sen. Ed Murray (D-43, Capitol Hill) beating incumbent Mayor Mike McGinn 52-28 with 20 percent of voters undecided.
PubliCola notes that the poll over-sampled older voters, who may skew towards Murray, but I don't think that makes a difference with a chasm like this. Yes, a lot can happen and the TV debates are coming up, where a lucid McGinn can articulate policy goals over a wooden, obfuscating Murray. But Murray's held this lead for three weeks, I've predicted he would win for three months, he's got a strong team, and I think Murray's got enough money to steamroll through to November at this point no matter what happens.
