Her mix of comics, journal entries, and letters from rehab is heartbreaking, and well worth the read.

I've been reading Julia Wertz comics for ages, and she has a tremendous sense of humor, which is still on full display as she writes about one of the toughest things someone can go through. She's super honest about stuff recovering addicts don't always talk about, like how getting through her addiction changed her approach to her work and how she didn't leave rehab totally fixed. She's finding ways to cope by doing dope stuff like this, and I'm excited that she'll have new books out soon, too. I'm totally rooting for her.
