I've been trying to get in touch with the NAACP since I started working here, to no avail. I've called, emailed, Facebooked, Twittered, and once, just to cover all the bases, I sent a carrier pigeon.

I tried again last week after Issaquah students went on a racist tirade against Garfield students—I talked to someone this time and they took a message, but I still haven't heard back, even though this is exactly the kind of situation that they would be in a prime position to address.

Can someone tell me if the NAACP is staffed by ghosts? Is this an Overlook Hotel situation? I'm deeply worried.
