They're going to have to cut some of the D loose in the offseason. Salary Caps and aging bodies.

I'm sure they'd like to pay Thomas, but can they is the question. More likely that Bennett and Chancellor go. Maybe Avril, too. Sherman may never be the same, either.

Of course, you could dump Jimmy Graham and never notice, so maybe the cap is not as dire as I think.

Jimmy Graham has given the Seahawks red zone offense some life this season and that is reason enough to keep him. I think Chancellor and Sherman are done. We need the cap space and this defense is showing they can play without them. Bennett might likely be done as well.

@2: But without Bennett, who will childishly try to blow up the victory formation every time Seattle loses?

Bonus points if you flagrantly try to injure another player because you can't handle losing!

And Blair Walsh missed no field goals.

An angel gets his wings whenever the Cowboys lose.

GO, SEAHAWKS!
@6 westello: Amen, and I'll drink to that.

Why bring the politics into it. Merry Christmas, now shut up.

@8,

Because right wing republicans are fucking shit brained idiots and need to be reminded of this at every opportunity. Sorry, I've been drinking. Right backatcha on the Merry Christmas & shut up anyway.

My hometown Steelers seem as well positioned as just about anyone to make a run at this point, btw. Losing Shazier hurt, though the fill in linebackers have performed well, and if Ben, Bell & Brown can put it together in tandem, I could see them putting still another ring on them fat, well decorated fingers.

Jesus, just when you think they're done
finished kaput they find another way
to pull it outta the damn bag.

Go Hawks!
(You too Carolina!)

@11 Well that's thinking out of the box. Go Hawks!

Please wait...
