You are not dreaming. Tonight, the Raincoats—the legendary British band led by Gina Birch and Ana da Silva that’s responsible for some of the most distinctively great music ever made under the name of post-punk—perform at Chop fucking Suey. Still best known for their 1979 debut (beloved by Kurt Cobain and boasting the classics “Fairytale in the Supermarket” and “In Love”), the Raincoats have produced a ton of great music beyond it, from 1982’s “No One’s Little Girl” to 1996’s Looking in the Shadows, and tonight should provide a blissed-out tour of all things Raincoats. (Chop Suey, 1325 E Madison St, www.chopsuey.com, 8 pm, $16, 21+)
