I-522 is the state initiative that would require labeling of genetically modified foods, because we deserve to know what the hell we’re eating. Tonight, a firmament of all-star chefs—including Meeru Dhalwala (Shanik), Matt Dillon (Sitka & Spruce, the Corson Building, Bar Sajor), Jim Drohman (Le Pichet, Cafe Presse), Tamara Murphy (Terra Plata), and Holly Smith (Cafe Juanita)—serve excellent food at the lovely Herban Feast to benefit this great cause. Any one of them will talk your ear off about GMOs, too. Also: beer from Hilliard’s, Finnriver cider, Hot Cakes sweets, and, as they say, much, much more. (Herban Feast, 3200 First Ave S, Ste 100, yeson522.com/bitenight, $125, 6:30 pm)
