Lou Reed was rock’s preeminent poet of perversity, and dozens of his beautiful, abrasive songs will be revered forever. Tonight, many of his devotees pay homage to the late, prickly Velvet Underground leader with film footage of Lou (10 minutes max per clip) drawn from the best submissions from the public; send URLs to NWFF’s Facebook page. In addition, local bands will be covering the great man’s songs. We’re gonna have a real good time together. (Northwest Film Forum, 1515 12th Ave, nwfilmforum.org, 9 pm, $11/$6 NWFF members, all ages)
