The dirty-cream-colored Laurelton building went up in 1928, and over the years it’s become the best dilapidated classic in the city, housing artist after artist, drawn to its underdog charm and prices. This show includes residents, former residents, and other artists they’ve slept with. You can guess who’s who, and tonight at Vermillion there’ll be performances and live music in addition to what’s on the walls. The list of artists is long, including Amos Miller, Kelly O, Ellen Forney, Jake Fennel, NKO, Stefan Gruber, Tessa Hulls, and Whitney Ford-Terry. After you leave, walk the few blocks up to 1820 16th Avenue and wave at the old lady herself. (Vermillion, 1508 11th Ave, vermillionseattle.com, 4 pm–midnight, performances start at 7:30 pm, free)
