In Seattle right now, a handful of musicians are renovating disco for these darker, more ominous times. Near the top of this 4/4-rhythm-loving heap are TJ Max, consisting of Jayson Kochan and Timm Mason, bassist and guitarist, respectively, for psych-rock luminaries Midday Veil. As TJ Max, they get down to the important business of launching ye olde hedonistic disco into comet-laden regions of space, adding dozens more IQ points to it in the process.
