If you’ve never dipped into the stream of crazy energy that is 14/48, the quick ’n’ dirty theater festival in which 14 new plays are created in 48 hours, you’re missing out on one of Seattle’s bizarre treasures. 14/48 is unpredictable by definition, always high-energy, and at least 72.5 percent fun, with a lining of ramshackle awkwardness to keep things interesting. On deck this weekend: Desdemona Chiang, Terri Weagant, Scot Augustson, Holly Arsenault, Emily Grogan, and dozens more. ( ACT Theatre, 700 Union St, acttheatre.org, $20 adv/$25 DOS, 8 and 10:30 pm, Jan 10–18)
