(FILM) If someone from Portland (in this case Gus Van Sant) makes a movie based on the death of a local hero (Kurt Cobain), then it is incumbent on us (Seattle) to watch it. Even if the reviews are bad, you must go to the theater, see the film, and pass judgment. Why? Because Kurt Cobain's death is one of the most important deaths to happen in Seattle. I will even go as far as to say his death is our property. So, as citizens of this city, let's make sure that this Portlander has not damaged this historic event that we so proudly own.
