Along with several special events at this spring art walk (Pat Wright's gospel choir performing in Occidental Square, for instance), tonight is opening of the final show at Catherine Person Gallery. Several other local contemporary galleries have shut down, too—but Catherine Person will still be representing artists privately, and new galleries are opening at the same time, and, well, Catherine Person would like you to know that, really, It's All Good. That's the title of her Third Avenue South send-off, and it's a great demonstration of her support of younger artists with elegant sensibilities. Here are eight artists working in, with, and on paper, creating homemade trees, turning books into waterfalls, and raising impenetrable paper walls of underbrush.
