On Friday night at Inay's on Beacon Hill, the dining room is lackadaisically lorded over by a drag queen named Atasha, who veers between a cappella singing, disco lip-synching, and ripping off her wig in hilarious displays of ferocity. Point-blank drag under fluorescents is a risky venture, but between the good, homestyle Filipino food (try the jalapeño tilapia) and Atasha's joie de vivre, Friday at Inay's is an experience like no other in town.
