What you imagine is that the second you leave the room, the giant white arm attached to the wall—the one with the great, terrible chrome eye dangling from it like a poisonous flower (the subtitle of this art is Nightshade)—begins mechanically spitting out ceramic pod-spores, each one identical and wearing the same fluorescent dot as the eye, each one moving to the side, conveyor-belt-style, to make room for the next.
