William Powhida's place, his there, is a life map—a cloud of drawings of the faces of Everyone I've Ever Met (That I Can Remember). For Matt Sellars, it's a remembrance in words and shapes that have become unlinked. Joy Garnett's paintings are storms still happening. Celestial events twinkle over the huts that Patte Loper draws. Each work is a place, and the caringly installed show is its own territory. The There, a show of nine artists in all, is not just seen but navigated.
