Its full name is University of Washington's Center for Digital Arts and Experimental Media, but—thank god—it goes by DXArts. Few know exactly what goes on in there. But it makes some big claims, describing itself as a lab for "mind- blowing new forms of art." In a free talk at the Henry, artists will describe and introduce these forms, from "dance technology" and "computer music" to "visual synthesis" and "sensing and control systems."
