(THEATER) On the heels of ACT's hit run of Mike Daisey's pretty-damn-new Ugly American, the monologist returns with a one-night-only performance of his totally new Invincible Summer. Weaving tales from Daisey's experience as a barely pre-9/11 NYC transplant with the bizarre history of the Manhattan Transit Authority's subway system, Invincible Summer dares to place the burning of the Speakeasy and the collapse of the Twin Towers in the same plot synopsis. The result should be hilarious and unsettling. (ACT, 700 Union St, 292-7676. 8 pm, $10.)
