Tough call. The Reuben at The Other Coast Cafe is pretty awesome.
2
I did not have a good experience the one time I ate at Other Coast. The sandwich I ordered was supposed to have coleslaw on it and it just had plain, raw cabbage. I don't even remember what kind of sandwich I ordered, just that the plain cabbage ruined it.

I think I may actually have to do this today. It's been a while.

Nah, either the Gilbano or the Dipper from Grinder's up on Aurora beat anything at Paseo. Well worth the drive up there. (And they have killer bread pudding!)
5
Word.

The #2 at Paseo is heaven on earth.
6
porchetta ... salumi.. that is all..
7
Yes. Yes, yes yes. This sandwich is the best sandwich I have ever eaten. Be sure to get there early - there's always a long line, and sometimes they run out.
8
Pro-tip: If you're driving anyway (and thus need parking), go to the Paseo at Golden Gardens. The line also seems more manageable in my experience.
9
You bastards! So hungry...
10
Paseo's #2: one of the things I miss most after having moved away from Seattle...
11
The porchetta sandwich at Dot's right across the street is FAR SUPERIOR, with a much shorter line, and they take credit cards. Three strikes, Paseo's out (despite their amazing corn).

Paseo's black beans and rice is a meal on its own. Damn good. Agree on hitting the location near the Brown Cow at Shilshole, plus you can eat outside!

Please wait...
