The Ohmu Negroni has sotol, cocoa, spiced pear, Angostura amaro, and absinthe. You wouldn’t think it would make a Negroni, but it does, it does.

I can totally see it -- nothing wrong with going a little crazy with the classic. I've substituted mezcal for all or part of the gin, and my house favorite uses plum-infused gin from Copperworks, Campari, Antica and a tiny splash of Chartreuse. With a grapefruit peel.
