You never know what you're going to get at the Smoke Farm summer arts festival: dancers shivering in the Stillaguamish River; a huge stump with so many red hatchets embedded in it, it looks like a pincushion; books cut into the shape of fungi and attached to trees; performances by Implied Violence and Bret Fetzer; a giant inflatable ghost-plane caught high in the treetops. This year's promising artists include DK Pan/NKO, "Awesome," Mandy Greer, Robb Kunz, and approximately 50 more. Camping is encouraged. Dogs are not. (Smoke Farm, 12731 Smokes Rd, Arlington, www.smokefarm.org, noon–midnight, $35)
