The fact that even now most minority actors can't get on a LORT stage unless they're in an all-[particular minority] show like this speaks volumes about how archaically ass backwards and bigoted the leadership in Seattle theatre still is.
Until I start seeing new plays with a real 70/30 or better racial mix of casting, I don't buy arguments that theatre's getting better at racial inclusion. It's all hot air.
