My xmas wish for Seattle theater is a few hundred more patrons even half as amazing and dedicated as Brett Love.
And for Mr. Love, I hope live theater in the new year will always merit his attention and exceed his expectations.

Oh, man, this interview could have run four times as long! Loved Mr. Love's insights! I want more!

Well, he's no Joe Boling, but then who else COULD be? :)

Gotta give the nod to this guy's commitment to Seattle theater. Papers should do interviews with a handful of serious audience members every year. Nice one, Stranger.

So much of theatre is so subjective. I enjoyed Undo, but certainly wouldn't say it was my favorite I have seen all year. A play could be well produced and beautifully acted, and someone could say it was terrible just because they didn't connect with the characters. I guess what I'm saying is that this is one man's opinion. There were many other plays produced in Seattle this year that should have been mentioned. Bengal Tiger at WET and Red Light Winter by Azeotrope to name a couple.
