I saw Motherfucker in the Hat on Saturday and v. strongly agree on Moises. He was the right amount of acid and sweetness in an otherwise heavy dish of a play. I also strongly agree with your assessment on Galan's performance, which approached Vincent D'Onofrio levels of overacting.

But I strongly disagree with you on Anna Lamadrid. Next to Moises, she was the highlight. Your review called her static, and I found her performance anything but. It was as nuanced as Galan's was over the top, and it somehow saved the show, at least for me.

Thanks for covering the arts, I guess? Just maybe stick to reviews and wait until you're here long enough to earn these casual garbage posts.

Your humor posts are always the worst. Some of your reporting is reasonable, you're just not funny.

What is your deal? Did you write Sean Nelson a fan letter from the computer lab of whichever grad school you limped through? And he got sentimental and hired you?

You're just bad for the brand, bro. I know they've been hemorrhaging talent lately, but is it this desperate?

@2 You, on the other hand, are a bastion of wit. It's unfortunate The Stranger's doctors can't prevent the hemorrhaging by hiring you. Guess you'll have to stick to your Pulitzer-winning comments :/

@3 - Maybe we should have a bake sale and raise some bandage money.

Are you snarking on Lizard Boy?

'Cause, if you are, you're an asshole.

Oh, and thanks for the shout out for the Gypsy Awards. Appreciate it, though I could have done without the general assholey tone and snark. We do them to acknowledge talented theater artists and hopefully draw attention to deserving artists and companies. Ya know...kind of like what The Stranger does with The Genius Awards. We just contain our honors to one category.

Please wait...
