Isn't Second Life dead yet?

I think the number of people playing YoVille or WoW or even Star Trek Online probably dwarfs them something like 10,000:1 in terms of people.

Probably more people doing RP on WoW than in Second Life - and very few people on WoW do RP ...

Seriously, I figured by now SL was more of a non-brain-eating zombie wasteland, with tens of thousands of abandoned avatars either wandering around aimlessly, or else slumped over like unpowered robots.

And really guys, this was the BEST you could come up with for a local theatre article this week? Really?

Oh yay, another way to marginalize local actors. *sigh*

@5. Think of it less as marginalizing the actors who are local and more about expanding opportunities for actors who have been horribly disfigured by acid attacks from evil scientists.

You could have gone to some of Ina Centaur's Shakespearean plays and written something about- let's say - how a 25 year old genius that Ina Centaur is has thought of the concept, built the authentic Shakespeare Theater, and keeps on producing fantastic plays translated into a dozen languages for a steady international audience in the 'dead' world of Second life. But, no - apparently, it is trendy to point a finger and crap on people while calling it journalism.

I m tired of explaining that sl isnt dead. I wont. SL is part of the 3D internet. Is 3D dead?

Please wait...
