You've piqued my curiosity with your review. I think I shall see the adaption. I recall Frankenstein being one of the first novels I ever read. It was one of the selections in my freshman year in Prep school's English Literature class. I was 13 y/o. I remember it being difficult to understand. Nothing like the film I'd seen with Boris Karloff. However, I've since reread it. And it is a masterpiece.
